In a milestone achievement, Ahomka FM has been declared the most listened to radio station in the Central Region of Ghana. This announcement was made by Virtual PR Africa, an independent communication and public relations firm registered and located in Ghana.
Having served the people of the region since its establishment in 2004, Ahomka FM has dedicated itself to producing content with the sole aim of developing the communities it serves. With a transmission capacity of 4k, syndicating most of its programs on its affiliate digital terrestrial television station (Ocean 1TV) and producing programs such asem bi safoa, me ma hom akyi, sports center, you and the law, ekuafo and afari fo ehyia among others, loyalty among listeners has been won over the period.
The survey, which sort to identify 5 best radio station in the various regions projected Ahomka FM as the most listened to radio station in the Central Region, with ATL being the second most listened to Radio Station. Others include Radio Peace, Darling FM and Cape Fm.
Among these top 5 radio stations, ATL FM was the station with most followers on Facebook, followed by Cape FM. Ahomka FM and Darling FM had a tag over there whereas Radio Peace placed 5 in that phase.

Ahomka FM 99.5 Mhz at Elmina had 307
Radio Peace 88.9mhz at winneba had 128
Darling FM 90.9mhz at Cape Coast had 118
Cape FM 93.3mhz at Cape Coast had 109 and 203 for other media houses.
